Petersburg is a participating community within the Boone County Foundation Fund (BCFF), an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation. The BCFF serves as the donor “hub” for the county, as it works to identify needs for sustaining and enhancing quality of life, including recreation and amenities, charitable services, and housing.
The organization hosts regular county-wide visioning sessions to engage people and businesses from across the county to have an open discussion regarding priority needs and wants. From there, the Foundation works with donors and other organizations to help see solutions come to life.
